A 3rd storm would be asking Nature to do a lot more. That would be asking TOO much. Summer's over. It would be rare at this time of year for Nature to do that at this time of year. If it was August or September, sure, but not close to Halloween. No, Florida can use the dry season air, no hurricanes!!
Hopefully that water dries up soon. Many mosquitos can breed in that water, and you don't know if they may carry West Nile or another kind of encephalitis virus.
Thankfully my county is on the ball about that. They spray at night for mosquitos frequently especially during the wet season. They did it the night after Milton. I have been here 10 years now and haven't been bitten by one yet though part of it is I don't go out at night much anymore and don't go into wild areas either. Florida also gets Dengue and Zika along with the ones you mentioned. I believe we recently had malaria in a couple of cases.
My mom won't go walking in wooded areas anymore because of concern over possible ticks. You are right not to stay in wild areas or go out much at night. In New York State, a couple of horses have died of this EEE, Triple-E, or Eastern Equine Encephalitis. A few have been sickened. I don't know if you've heard of it. Malaria may get more common in the years ahead.
I used to primitive camp a lot up in northern Michigan but I don't know the wildlife down here in Florida well enough to risk it.. I mean I know of them but not enough to go out alone like I did up there. Also the forests down here are a lot different and much denser. Also we had some problems with Lyme Disease, West Nile and that but nothing like they do down here. I'm not as reckless as I was when younger.
Glad to hear that news as we really don't need a third storm in a month.

Definitely. Under my house is still a lot of water and the musty smell is coming in through the bathroom.

Let's hope so... For the sake of Puerto Rico and many other islands, let's hope it doesn't grow into a big storm at all...
That's not gonna happen. It's just a rain and/or thunderstorm maker.
