Ty for helping me to understand the lull a little better. It hasn't really made a lot of sense. Only thing I do know for certain, is that those SSTs are nerve wracking. Once those waters are let loose, who knows what might happen. Cat 3 pluses as starter points don't seem that far fetched to me.
I'm hoping the lull will continue. I'm also wondering if next year might be 'safer', in regards to hurricane formation inhibition at least, as El Niño should be further entrenched.
At the same time, I realize the heat needs to be released from the water. The marine life needs oxygen, and I feel like they aren't getting enough air, poor things 💔 🐬🐠🦈🦀🐙🐚💔
