This scenario reminds me of a hurricane that battered western Cuba for some 4 days... it was 40+ years ago so am fuzzy on the details except that the damage was monstrous
While we in Florida can be thankful that Melissa will hopefully pass us by, I am mindful that others are probably going to get it right on the chin from this storm.
Sorry to hear that anyone is going to be hit with such torrential, catastrophic rains or a major hurricane. No one should have to deal with that. Unfortunately we can't beat nature.
